The Japanese art of finding beauty in imperfection.Taken from the Japanese words wabi, which translates to less is more, and sabi, which means attentive melancholy, wabi-sabi refers to an awareness of the transient nature of earthly things and a corresponding pleasure in the things that bear the mark of this impermanence.

VAPS Interclub 2025 results
Congratulations to our members who had images selected for entry into the 2025 VAPS Interclub competition. We came first in prints with 212 points, and third in EDI with 208 points.

Dahlia Photography Exhibition at the Track Gallery
Last weekend saw the successful and vibrantly colourful State Dahlia Show at the Mount Waverley Community Centre. Four of our members put together 24 beautiful photographs at very short notice, which were exhibited in the Trak Gallery. They really looked wonderful and along with Dahlia arrangements, 2 artists demonstrating drawing and painting and a fascinating stamp collection the gallery looked stunning.
